Dear patients,
From the very beginning of my medical studies at the Ruhr University Bochum and the Medical Faculty of the University of Duisburg-Essen, it was clear to me that I wanted to dedicate myself to surgery. In addition to providing the best possible and empathetic care for patients, surgery requires a high degree of precision and craftsmanship, a feel for the tissue and a sense of aesthetics and perfection. All of this characterizes me.
After completing my studies, I initially worked in general, abdominal and vascular surgery at Bochum University Hospital. I then qualified as a specialist in general surgery and worked as a senior physician in Dortmund. In addition to abdominal surgery, my field of activity also included body contouring operations, tightening operations for obesity and liposuction.
For 3 years now and around 250-300 patients per year, I have been dealing almost exclusively with lipoedema in all its facets. In addition to conservative therapy, I have specialized primarily in holistic surgical therapy. The combination of medicine and aesthetics is particularly important to me.
My constant aim is to help my patients achieve lasting freedom from pain and thus an improved quality of life, but it is equally important to me to create a harmonious and perfectly shaped overall appearance by treating the transitional areas (body contouring). Because I want you not only to go through life free of complaints, but also to feel comfortable and beautiful in your own skin again.
Driven by this motivation, I have lived and loved my profession for more than 15 years now and am fascinated by the emotional moments that I get to share with my patients after their treatments.
